Action Plan

The Commission Members’ Plenary Session opened with a welcome address by FIM President Jorge Viegas, followed by a series of presentations from championship promoters highlighting their vision, strategic priorities and plans for the future development of their respective disciplines.

Participants first heard from Claude Michy, President of Endurance Moto Promoter (EMP), who presented the latest developments and future outlook for the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC). This was followed by Richard Coleman, Founder of Mayfield Sports Events Ltd, who shared insights into the promotion and growth strategy of FIM Speedway, including the Speedway Grand Prix (SGP), Speedway of Nations (SON) and Speedway World Cup (SWC).

The session continued with a presentation from Robbie Hunter, Co-Owner and Managing Director of Hard Enduro Promotion Marketing Management LLC, who outlined the vision and ambitions for the Hard Enduro World Championship. Attendees were then introduced to the new promoter of the FIM QuadCross World Championship, APO Multimedia, during a contract-signing ceremony involving FIM President Jorge Viegas and APO Multimedia CEO Martin Beňa. Martin Beňa subsequently presented the company’s plans for the future development and promotion of the championship.

The morning concluded with a panel discussion bringing together promoter representatives, providing Commission Members with valuable insights into the challenges, opportunities and strategic priorities shaping the future of international motorcycle sport.

In addition to these promoter-focused discussions, Commission Members also received important updates on several key FIM initiatives, including the implementation of the Concussion Guidelines and the development of the FIM Safeguarding Framework, both of which reflect the Federation’s ongoing commitment to athlete welfare, safety and integrity.
