Background
The first MXGP Women’s Academy was held back in 2018, in Assen. 2024 WMX Champion Lotte van Drunen participated in the Academy during its first addition. Started successful co-project with MXGP Academy and to continue to provide opportunities for young riders around the world and to introduce them to Motocross.

Action Plan
A 360-degree approach to learning Motocross. From the classroom to the track. The Academy will provide world-class tutoring from the top level of the sport with Professional Trainers Jan Postema and 2 times World Champions Livia Lancelot and Martin van Genderen. There will be training at the MXGP track Lacapelle Marival during the WMX, with sessions for parents and education classes too. Training will be on mechanics, athlete nutrition, diet, track tutorials, safety, and sponsorship. The next day the riders will visit the manufacturers and meet the World Championship riders. They will have a chance to visit them and learn.

Objectives
- Grow the number of youth (boys / girls) participating in Motocross.
- Educate the athletes on all areas of Motocross.
- Generate publicity for the WMX and motorcycle sport in general.
- Make Motocross more accessible for young athletes.
- Collaborate with local charities to engage the local community.
- Get new volunteers to join the sport.
