The International Foundation for Motorcycling (IFM) Board, which met at the IFM Headquarters in Mies (Switzerland) on 15 May 2025, addressed several topics, in particular the following:

Finance: The Board approved the 2024 financial statements and activity report that will be submitted to the Swiss Foundation Supervisory Authority. In addition, BDO Ltd, an international company delivering insurance, tax and financial advisory services, was re-appointed as external auditor for the 2025 financial statements. The IFM tax exempted regime, initially granted until the end of 2024, was successfully renewed for an indefinite period.

Racing Motorcycle Museum (RMM): The progress of the transformation works was presented. The content of the future Racing Motorcycle Museum was currently being collected. The grand opening of the museum, to be managed by the Foundation, will take place in the presence of the FIM World Champions in the framework of the 2025 FIM Awards on 6 December 2025. IFM Board Members, together with Mrs Cosima Deluermoz, International Sports Delegate – Canton of Vaud and Mr Pierre-Alain Schmidt, Mayor of the Municipality of Mies were invited to visit the museum construction site.

Fundraising activities: A detailed presentation related to fundraising initiatives was shared with the Foundation Board. A focus was made on the objectives of the Foundation, on projects as well as on the benefits of being a funder.

Recognition: Decision was made to create a Beyond Sport Trophy, which would be awarded in recognition of significant achievements, projects or initiatives related to the objectives of the Foundation.

Furthermore, the Foundation remains engaged in and committed to caring for road safety and mobility programmes, education & training, environment protection, promotion of women in sporting structures, social and historical legacy of motorcycling activities, in line with its mission and vision.
