The IFM decided to positively answer the call for solidarity of the Turkiye Motorcycling Federation (TMF) by making a pledge of equipment that is necessary for the rescue teams according to the TMF communications. Following the widely reported and devastating news regarding the huge earthquake in Türkiye and Syria, the IFM responded to an urgent appeal by the TMF by sharing the request for vital equipment with its national federations and the wider motorcycling community.

Digital and online campaign to raise awareness of this appeal – with call to action to donate equipment as per the TMF’s request.

Communicate this call for assistance to the FIM family and global motorcycle communication via social media, online and electronic database.
Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of equipment to the intended to affected regions.

Ensure the supply of vital equipment to the TMF riders who had voluntarily started to provide logistics support for the distribution of medicine and food in the earthquake region.

Play an important role in raising awareness of the assistance needed, the work being done by the TMF and its riders, and the successful gathering of the equipment requested.
